Choose your AI without guessing.

You tried the free ChatGPT, it did something impressive once, and then you closed the tab. This guide won't tell you what to buy: it gives you the way to decide: what actually differs between these tools, the seven questions to ask before you pay, and a two-week test on your own work.

Guide cover: “Choose your AI without guessing”, English edition.

Five steps. No scoreboard.

We don't rank the tools: a ranking would be out of date before you finished reading, and it isn't what decides anything. The method is, and it still holds when the prices move.

Step 01

Name the job

"Which AI should I get" has no answer until somebody says what they're hauling. Five tests for a good first job.

Step 02

The three layers

The AI already inside what you pay for, the general assistant, the single-job tool, and the order to try them in, which starts with the layer you already have.

Step 03

The seven questions

Ordered by what it costs to get them wrong. The first, personal account or business account, is the only one that can become a legal problem.

Step 04

Test for two weeks

On your real work, not on a demo. Same job, two candidates maximum, and you count the minutes: fixing included.

Step 05

Decide and write it down

A one-page record, two rules set at the same time, and a review date. A decision nobody wrote down gets made again every few months.

What almost nobody knows

The four big vendors sell the same assistant twice: once to you as a person, once to your business. The screens look nearly identical. The rules about what you type are not the same.

The guide quotes each vendor in its own words, with the date it was checked. Two of the findings cut against intuition: including one where paying extends how long your data is kept.

Real pages, not promises.

Choosing well gets you a good tool. Not a better business.

In a small business, the hours rarely disappear into writing: they go into the quote that takes four days to leave, the same information typed into three systems, the invoicing that eats a Sunday, the thing only one person knows how to do. An assistant helps with the writing. It does nothing about the shape of the work.

That's where we come in: we look at how your business actually runs, put a number on every possible improvement, and you decide. Vendor-neutral: we resell nothing and take no commissions.
